Team Lead - Dog Trainer/Walker/Pet Sitter
Hi, I'm Chris! I am a Dog Trainer at Happy Tails Pet Care. In 2017 I decided to pursue an education on Dog Training. A year later, I graduated from Animal Behavior College as a Certified Dog Trainer. My new certification scored me a job as a Behavior Specialist at the Halifax Humane Society where I worked on training, evaluating, and rehabilitating shelter dogs. After getting some experience I decided to look for a job being a full time dog trainer and that's how I found Happy Tails.
The team here at Happy Tails has given me a platform to put my knowledge and skills to use and enabled me to further educate myself on dog behavior. I love to educate the communities we serve on how to form stronger and long lasting bonds with their best friends through the power of positive training! Outside of dog training, I love napping with my cats, and creating video game content with my wife on YouTube and Twitch.

Hi, I’m Heidi! I am a Dog Groomer and Walker at Happy Tails Pet Care. I have been working with animals for over 3 years, beginning as a dog bather before pursuing my passion for grooming. I graduated from Nash Academy of Animal Arts in Lexington, KY, with certification in Grooming & Styling, and have since gained experience grooming dogs of all breeds, sizes, personalities, and temperaments.
Happy Tails has given me a wonderful place to put my experience and skills to use while continuing to grow and learn as a groomer & pet care provider. I truly love helping pets look and feel their best while making their grooming experience as comfortable and positive as possible. I enjoy building trust with each pet I work with and creating lasting connections with both the animals and their pet parents.
Outside of work, I’m a huge cat lover and proud cat mom. I also enjoy playing retro video games and spending time in nature! Can’t wait to meet you and your pets!
